Supercomputer predicts revolution – and it won’t be televised

Researchers at the University of Tennessee have used an SGI Altix supercomputer to perform a massive-scaled sentiment analysis and geocoding of world media to retro-predict key events in the Arab Spring and the whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden.

I’m sure world leaders will always use the information for good, but wonder – would they have broken the vase if it hadn’t mentioned it?
