But will personalised news apps like Flipboard and LeNewz that allow users to choose where their stories are sourced be more successful in the end? Somewhere inbetween are apps like the forthcoming Nomad Editions, which will offer articles tailored to subscriber interest. Time will tell, but it seems that apps are the new way we browse the net, accounting for 51 per cent of all US internet traffic.
