Projection mapping graphics to bricks on a massive brick wall out side the office I was working at, at the time.
The software was built by me (Philip Clevberger) in Adobe Flash ActionScript3. Its capable of turning any display object into bricks. This video shows a web cam feed as well as some audio visualization. (there is also some other eye candy added, such as the blocky stars and the 3D blocks, it was all done for a party we had, so I just added a few extras to make it more diverse, these could be turned on and off, as well as controlled realtime) How it works: It takes the original source, shrinks it down. Take each pixel and distributes it over the bricks. Each brick is split into two pixels. A brick wall is not exactly even, so thank you Andy Gregory for spending the hours, mapping each brick by hand, and providing me with the template. Thank you Olle Lindell for helping me do the video recordings.
