We often see street art as murals and graffiti. Our office being situated in Surry hills, we notice and admire these creative outlets every day. Oak Oak is a French street artist, who unlike Banksy, doesn’t necessarily create to send a message. He brings the street to life, using street ornaments and urban decay as his canvas. As a creative, I love how he sees the outside world as a playground, transforming cracks in walls into lightning bolts and street and oil spills into comic characters. His outlook on life is brilliantly playful and witty, constantly asking himself: “what else could this be?” or “what does that remind me of?”
Below are just some amazing examples of his work. Find his blog here: http://oakoak.canalblog.com
His work is fantastic Erin! So imaginative – reminds me of being a kid.

Yeah, i really like some of OaKoAk’s work.
Another guy I like who does a different form of street art is Slinkachu. He photographs little figurines around the streets. Check it out.

Love it! Like a Banksy without the politics.
