Google’s Our Mobile World study

If you leave home and forget your wallet, you might think I will get around the day without it. But if you forget your phone, you will turn around and get it.

The mobile phone is like the command centre in our pocket, it’s our voice, it’s our memory, it’s our book, it’s our pen, it’s our TV, it’s our jukebox, it’s our wallet and much more. Even our friends are in it.

Still companies spent significantly more budget on traditional media such as TV and print, instead of engaging with their audience through this powerful tool which they have on hand most of the time of a day.
