Web based photo retouching has taken a leap forward with the release of the aviary photo editing plug-in. It uses HTML5 Canvas with Flash fallbacks to edit images completely client side and saves the retouched photos server side. Compatible with all modern browsers, including mobile devices. There is even a mobile app that works on iOS and Android devices.
