Deepend’s favourite games [part 1]

After watching Jane McGonigal‘s incredible TED talk on how games can make a better world, Deepend was inspired to reminisce on games that made our world a little better. Check out our list and feel free to add any we’ve missed in the comments.

It’s not hard to see why Ben W is pretty keen on Let’s Muscle

I think MrFriendlyFella’s comment sums it up: “YOU CAN PLAY? AS A GODDAMN POLARBEAR”

Ben also likes Super Street Fighter 4 (Xbox 360)

Pip loves Osmos

Matt loves (real life) multi-player board game Settlers of Catan

Chris C rates original SNES The Legend of Zelda, Ghosts ‘n Goblins and Super Mario Brothers SNES, which is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Chris Bellman’s picks are Action Quake 2 – “even 12 years later is still the most fun game I’ve played.”

and Team Fortress 2 – “a team-focused shooter that remains fast and fun. Quite rare.”

To be continued…
