Delicious have just relaunched with a “Playlist for the web” feature called Stacks which allows you to prepare a topic of media someone else can experience as a passive experience. At first you think “what’s wrong with a tag” but after thinking about it and checking out some stacks up there, it really makes sense. The stacks will cross many tags and represent a more cohesive higher-level concept than an “atomic” semantic tag.
It feels very educational at the moment, but I’m interested to see how it’ll get hijacked and reused – especially if the API is extended to include stack playback.

Not that I’m one to complain about a free service changing (ahem Facebook) but I just hope they bring back all the tagging and search features I used to use every day…
