Kingmaker is a location-based social gaming competition which charges players with claiming territory for one of the games’ two rival factions – Royals and Rebels – and offers them the opportunity to start building a chest of gold, ready to improve their chances in the real game when it launches on October 29th. Territory is claimed by registering at www.Fable3Kingmaker.com and placing a virtual flag via a mobile app. Any gold gathered can be spent in the game on customisations and products for the player, in a tidy nod to the growing importance of virtual currencies.
