A very clear roundup from Tim Berners-Lee on keeping the Web open and the Internet neutral. He sees walled gardens such as Facebook plus iPhone / Andriod apps to be counter to the original philosophy of the open web – more akin to the AOLs of the 90’s – and encourages us to use m-sites instead.
He ends on a note about Linked Data which has got me all semantic-web excited again, but ironically this is how Facebook has restructured it’s new Graph API. Perhaps Berners-Lee has given Zuckerberg a fatherly fireside talking-to.
