Following the legacy of TEDxSydney 2013 which saw eight million online views and a sold out live event at Sydney Opera House, the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia and the TEDxSydney team have collaborated to develop TEDxYouth@Sydney, an event specifically aimed at celebrating the creativity, innovation and connectedness of young people.
Presented in the MCA’s premier harbourside venues on Sunday 17 November, the event will provide an inspiring environment for young creators, thinkers and social entrepreneurs to share and be inspired by ideas worth spreading.
Developed with a curatorial team aged 18–24, TEDxYouth@Sydney embraces the global TEDYouthDay theme ‘the spark’, bringing together 12 speakers and performers who will present empowering stories of how they have pursued their creative ideas and created positive impact in their communities.
On the day, audience members will be engaged in dynamic conversation, providing opportunities for as many young people as possible to voice and contribute ideas worth spreading.
Admission to the live event includes live music, delicious food throughout the day, and a goody bag for every delegate.
