If controversial and confronting conversations don’t phase you, in fact, if they captivate, intrigue or inspire you, then the Festival of Dangerous Ideas is an event to put in your diary.
This is the festival’s 5th year running and includes dozens of speakers including Dan Savage, John Safran and creator of HBO series The Wire, David Simon. Sex, death, crime, gender, war, ethics, religion – you name it, these themes will be divulged, analysed and comprehended beyond your everyday thinking.
