Get organised

It seems that every time I turn around these days there’s another app to try out that will apparently help you stay organised and on top of things. Sure they are helpful, most are nicely designed and they cover the basics of creating a To Do list or working with a team, and all the other tasks that fit together to make a project come to life – but which one to choose? Hitting the front of the pack at the moment is Asana, created by one of Facebook’s founders and describing itself as an alternative to email in the workspace. But do we need another alternative to email? That is the one thing I always wonder when I am introduced to these apps – do we really need more applications, logins and products to keep us organised or are we simply jumping on the tech bandwagon and convincing ourselves that we need these products. So tell me what you think – do you find these type of apps useful or are we just going overboard? Which are your favourites?

  1. I’ve installed a new chrome add-on today.
Nitro syncs via Dropbox and it works really well.
