Google has continued its social spending spree with its latest acquisition of mobile gaming company SocialDeck. This latest purchase adds social gaming content – all playable across both smartphone (i.e. Android and iPhone) and social networking (i.e. Facebook) platforms – to Google’s arsenal. No doubt SocialDeck’s creations such as Shake & Spell, Pet Hero MD and Color Connect will pop up on the upcoming Google Me social platform, making it competitive with social giant Facebook and its suite of hugely successful social games such as FarmVille and Mafia Wars.
