A group of NYC journalists and editors have created Nomad Editions, a weekly made-for-mobile magazine, expected to launch in our spring. Nomad will use freelance writers with narrow expertise and subscribers will receive story selections based on their personal interests. Nomad Editions will also offer full sponsorships to marketers in each interest group, amounting to eight ads per edition.
The application will be powered by new web-based Treesaver technology which supports video and audio content and allows users to see the same content whether they are viewing on a phone or a computer.
