Olympic Spirit

Illustrator Tobatron, whose fine work graced the “How to Survive your Midlife Crisis” feature in our July 2012 issue, has turned his focus to another imminent crisis (just kidding!), with a new range of tote bags in honour of London 2012.

The three screenprinted designs by Tobatron, aka Toby Leigh, were made in collaboration with accessories designer Elaine Burke and are definitely on a let’s-be-honest-we’ve-all-been-thinking-it tip, as well featuring a nice pastiche of that graffiti-esque London 2012 logo everyone was so keen on.

And if snarking at the hard work of the organisers seems a bit of a low jibe, rest assured that the bags also have a higher purpose as they’re being sold to raise money for Khama, a women’s charity in Malawi.

The limited edition charity bags cost £15 each and are available at  thatbigeventinlondon.co.uk
