Big news from Facebook this morning – the Facebook Promotional Guidelines have been updated to the effect that brands no longer need to administer competitions and promotions through a Facebook App. This means that competition entry and voting can take place directly on the page Timeline via liking or commenting, or by direct messaging the page.
