Italian artist Olivo Barbieri is best known for his photography of urban environments. His innovative use of tilt-shift lens enables him to produce incredible images that look like miniature models of cities and landscapes. Barbieri himself has describes these aerial photographs as displaying “the city as an avatar of itself.”
