This year the 2013 Art & About Festival is exploring the theme “Private Lives…Public Spaces”. Deepend’s own little nook of Surry Hills is getting involved with the creative residents of The Hill Street Precinct coming together to host ‘Hide & Seek” – an evening where we can share our work with the wider community. The night will be abuzz with design, fashion, food, music, lighting, furniture, workshops and installations!
Hide & Seek will be running for over 4 week period on a Wednesday evening, starting tomorrow the 25th of September in the Hill St Precinct (opposite The Beresford Hotel) at 5pm to 8pm. Workshopped will be featuring a show stopping light installation, Organic café Foundry will be serving delicious food and design school White House will be hosting different mini workshops to engage your inner designer, with the first class focusing on illustration and sketching.
Deepend will be bringing the courtyard to life by spinning tunes and revealing some awesome projections.
Arthur G, Euroluce, Leading Hand Design and Tom Ferguson Photography will also be participating.
So come on down and join in the fun of discovering our creative hub that is Hill Street.
