This Saturday, October the 26th, Australians will come together and host a Nationwide Garage Sale Trail which will bring together communities partaking in buying and selling everything from clothes to crepes and collectible figurines to cars.
Promoting sustainability by saving thousands of items from landfill to creating community connections, the bonus is, of course, that those participating this Saturday will also be making money from their ‘trash’.
So grab you wallets (cash is king) and head on down to one of the thousands of Garage Sales happening on Saturday. You could even end up with a car, but a more likely outcome is that you will raid a celebrity stylist’s wardrobe in Bondi.
