Plastic Coke Bottles Recycle Into Functional Headphones

UK-based designer Michael Young, has collaborated with EOps and Coca-Cola to create a pair of sustainable earphones. The in-ear headphones are created using recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which comes from your average plastic bottles.

The EOps Noisezero Sports+ earphones contain 20% recycled content, and includes 9mm HD titanium driver units, foam earbuds, and sweat-proof design. It also features a small three-button remote module that lets wearers control the volume and playback options with iOS devices.

The special-edition headphones also come with matching messenger bags and backpacks, which have also been manufactured from recycled PET bottles.
