Similar to Cup-a-Soup’s Cup Campaign, Bonds (with the objective of increasing their database) have launched their ‘Bonds Birthday campaign’ giving away personalised T-shirts with users birth dates printed on them.
The Bonds campaign site prompts users to select their birth date and upload a photo of themselves to correlate with that particular date. The reward being the first 35,000 people to claim the birthday card with their birth date on it, get a Bonds T-shirt with that date printed on it.
After selecting your birthday and handing over all of your personal details, your photo is then archived against that date and showcased on the website http://www.wearebonds.com.au/ .
In the first 24 hours since launch, they have had more than one photo uploaded every five seconds. That’s more than 20,000 Aussies (and I am one of them) They were expected a big response, but this has been overwhelming and I am loving the websites simple interactivity.
A very clever way to increase their database and get rid of cheep unwanted stock, I say!
