TEDx Sydney – Applications Open

It’s a busy week in TEDxSydney Land.

We opened up our Apply to Attend process over the weekend, and lots of great applications are pouring in. Although we have a big room to fill, we want to make sure that the audience is as interesting and as diverse as we can make it. If you haven’t yet applied to attend TEDxSydney 2013 at the Sydney Opera House on 4 May, you can do that HERE.

Our event is generating a lot of interest … especially on the Grow it Local for TEDxSydney food front (see below). We’re also attracting a record level of support from the partners who (frankly) make it all possible. We have a couple of big, excting partner announcements to make today … with more major announcements coming soon.

Finally, the mothership TED Conference happens next week in Long Beach California … with the simultaneous TEDActive event happening in Palm Springs … both for the last time in those cities (with 2014 shift to Vancouver and Whistler). TEDxSydney representatives will be there in force … a couple of us in Long Beach, and a whopping 9 of us at Palm Springs. It’s an antipodean invasion. (Co-host Rives has already started writing the Australian gags 🙂 Everyone from our delegation has been taught how to blog using the new TEDxSydney website plaform, so you can expect a glut of news posted to the website over the next couple of weeks.

Cheers,

TEDxSydney 2013 Organising Team
