The recent discovery of algae like fossils in meteorites has thrown some serious fuel on the debate of whether or not life originated from outer space or spontaneously came into existence on Earth itself. If the discovery is to be believed, the possibility of extra terrestial life is almost garaunteed. Perhaps not Martians as we think of them, but single celled organisms perhaps. Either way, this discovery is causing a lot of debate in the science world:
